Ancient craftsmen in Valdichiana Senese have been handed down for generations: wood, clay, metals and other materials have been modeled through times for the creation of tools and decorative objects.
Tuscan craftsmanship has an internationally recognized value, appreciated both at home and abroad for the value of its manufactures and the creativity that distinguishes it. Walking through the villages of the Valdichiana it is possible to visit some of the shops where ancient artisan traditions are handed down, such as the making of bucchero, a particular ceramic dating back to the Etruscan period.
With Valdichiana Living proposal you will be able to visit three artisan workshops according to your interests: you can choose between ceramic workshops, carpenters, jewelers and sculptors, but also tailors and herbalists. You will be able to get to know the artisans and their products, actively participate in the workshops and perhaps bring home a unique piece of Tuscan craftsmanship.
Our itinerary will allow you to visit the shops, to admire the panoramas of the Valdichiana and to taste some of its best typical products: the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Chianina breed meat, seasonal vegetables, cold cuts and local cheeses.

First Day
- Arrival and accommodation in the farmhouse
Second Day
- Embroidery workshop in a community cooperative in San Casciano dei Bagni: a lesson on the basic elements of hand embroidery, demonstration and guide for the creation of an embroidery on a bread bag or linen laundry bag. At the end of the workshop the participant will have his own product at his disposal.
- Visit to a winery, relaxing walk through the vineyards and wine tasting.
Third Day
- Yoga lesson (lasting about 1 hour) at the farmhouse.
- Dinner with organic and 0 km products
